I know Capture One has keywords and such but my library is huge and uses up many drives so maybe software like Photo Mechanic will be faster to build this database? However, I want to change that, I'm using Capture One Pro for my RAW editing. I have been way too lazy to organize my photo library other than using folding structure, most of my library doesn't have tags on photos so I can sort them out or look for keywords easily. The only limitation is that you cannot use it to judge raw exposure. It has a very good photo organizer on it and its an excellent editor as well. It’s great for that and for tagging the images, but not for much else, though they did launch a cataloguing upgrade. It’s the default for photo journalism to go through thousands of images as fast as possible.
